The NFL has been ramping up player safety as much as possible it seems like. With the new kick-off rule, concussion protocols, etc. The NFL needs to do all that is possible to protect the players and it makes sense with the public backlash the NFL receives at times. So this new rule would change the look and feel of football if it goes through. The NFL is thinking of requiring guardian caps on top of helmets for all players.
Sure the guardian caps might look a bit dorky but at the end of the day if it helps protect the players and ehances player safety I am all in for it.
