The Kansas City Chiefs opened up their defense of their back-to-back Super Bowl trophies with a narrow 27-20 win against the Baltimore Ravens. But how close was the game really? Well, the Chiefs, they won by a toe. On the last play of the game, Lamar Jackson found Isaiah Likely in the back of the end zone what appeared to be the game-tying touchdown. But, after review, Likely's toe was just barely on the line out of bounds.
And that's the NFL and football in a nutshell. The game is known as the game of inches for a reason. And the difference between a win and a loss can sometimes be the tip of a big toe.The toe speaks volumes in the Ravens vs Chiefs pic.twitter.com/dGrFJn9jmx
