The data set on some of these coaches might not be enough to actually go ahead and wager on them. But there are three key coaches here who might have just enough data that makes sense.
Let's start with John Harbaugh of the Ravens, who seems to come almost every season prepared. They had a very impressive run during preseason football through the years. However, they do face the Kansas City Chiefs in week 1. The line for the game is Kansas City Chiefs as 3 point favorites
Sean McVay has an impressive 6-1 ATS (against the spread) during his time coaching the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams, however, take on a very good Detroit Lions team that made a run to the NFC championship game last season. The Lions are currently 3.5 point favorites.
Lastly, there is Jim Harbaugh, who begins his new journey with the Los Angeles Chargers. They do have somewhat of an easier matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders and the Chargers are currently 3.5 point favorites.
It'll be interesting to see if this impressive week 1 stats continue for these head coaches.
