MLB's All-Time hit king Pete Rose has passed away at the age of 83. Pete Rose was also a three-time World Series champion and the most complicated figure possibly in the history of the sport. He was banned for life from MLB after it was found he was betting on baseball games that he was involved in. One of the biggest debates in all sports is if Pete Rose belongs in the Hall of Fame. And, well, we have no idea if he will retroactively be put in. But, if he is he won't be alive to see it.

Pete Rose. We might never see a player like him again. We all know he's great, but his flexibility was off the charts. He started 1303 games as an outfielder, 905 as a first baseman, 627 as a third baseman and 600 as a second baseman. And remember all of this was in the NL where there was no DH. There might never be a baseball player we see who was this versatile and loved the game of baseball quite like Pete Rose.
