Paul Skenes has been the best thing to happen to MLB this season. The Pittsburgh Pirates phenom has come into baseball and been nothing more than sensational. He is also super marketable and dating Livvy Dunne, which gives him even more of an appeal off the field.
So, usually, MLB would mess this up, right? And I mean his own team is trying their best to mess this up by pulling him while he has a no-hitter through 7 innings. So baseball surely would not do the right thing right? Well, wrong. This time, baseball got it right by announcing Paul Skenes would be the starter for the NL All Star team during the All Star game.
WARNING: A heat wave is about to hit Texas.

An absolute win for MLB and their fans and, of course, for the rookie Paul Skenes. Surely, this won’t be the last time he starts an All Star game in his career.
