We are through three weeks of the NFL season. And so far, heavy favorites have not only had time covering the spread but, they have had a tough time even winning games. The biggest favorites in the NFL weeks one through three have lost their game outright. This is the first time the biggest favorite has lost outright in their games three consecutive weeks since weeks ten through twelve of the 2001 season.
Well, this is bad news for the San Francisco 49ers this week as they take on the New England Patriots as the biggest favorites of the week. Their line is set as 10.5 point favorites.
