Vanderbilt football has never been a powerhouse of a program. Actually, quite the opposite. Vanderbilt football has been one of the worst teams in the SEC conference. But it seems that this is a season of hope for Vanderbilt and, for the first time in recent memory, the student section at Vanderbilt is packed. It is so packed, that they have to turn away students due to capacity.
Breaking news from Vanderbilt vs. Virginia Tech.
The student section is so full they have stopped letting students into the game.
This has to be the first in a long time for Commodore Nation.

Safe to say I have never seen anything like this at Vanderbilt. The team did not win a game in the SEC last season, but the students are full of hope during this new football season. Currently, at the time of writing, Vanderbilt are leading Virginia Tech as double-digit underdogs.
